Part Time Associate Assessors

Skills for Security is a dynamic organisation, which is responsible for skills and standards development for the Security Business Sector.  We provide a range of innovative training, qualification and related services to ensure security personnel deployed across the UK are equipped to provide safe environments for their customers and the wider community.

Skills for Security is also responsible for the delivery of the NOCN Level 2 Certificate for Security Practitioners.  This qualification is funded through the Learning & Skills Council (LSC) and is delivered across England.

In support of this highly successful qualification, we are seeking to appoint a number of part-time Associate Assessors with experience of the security guarding industry, who are qualified as NVQ Assessors and have undertaken assessments within the last two years.  Assessors are required in all regions, but specifically in the Midlands and the North East of England.

The work involves visiting learners on site to assess their work in accordance with the requirements of the qualification as well as signing up new learners and ensuring all LSC requirements are met.  Working as a self-employed person to an agreed schedule, this is an opportunity for those with some time to spare from their other activities to make a vital contribution to the development of the industry's security personnel.
