Physical Intervention Trainer Programme

Skills for Security has teamed up with conflict management specialists Maybo, to provide a high quality, legally and medically reviewed, physical intervention trainer programme.

The Maybo Physical Intervention programme for the security industry is approved for use with the new SIA licence-linked qualifications. This means trainers successfully completing the Maybo PI five-day tutor training course will be able to deliver the PI award for new door supervisors (Level 2), and achieve a Level 3 qualification in 'Delivering Physical Intervention training' which is awarded by Edexcel.
