The customer base of the Security Industry is probably more diverse than in any other business. From small owner operated to huge multinational organisations, from Mining and Heavy Engineering to Retail and Hospitals – all use our services but each bring their own challenges and face a wide range of different risk and threats.
To provide an effective service we must be able to recognise, understand and evaluate those risk and threats. Just as a Doctor cannot provide an effective remedy without conducting a professional consultation and careful diagnosis - we cannot provide an effective level of security without first identifying and understanding the real and potential risks and threats. Not simply those connected with Crime but a broad range from Fire, H&S, through to the possible damage and disruption caused by ‘nature.’
Who is the programme for?
This Course is designed for all who have a responsibility for Risk Recognition and Reduction - both in-house and Contract Providers. Whether in order to provide a Quotation, draw up Assignment Instructions/Standing Orders, prepare Management Reports or monitor the on-going performance of the service - Security Managers, Sales Managers and Consultants, Surveyors, Operations Managers or Senior Site Supervisors - all will benefit from this programme.
What does the programme cover?
Spread over two days, Delegates are introduced to the ‘methods’ of Site Surveying and Risk Analysis which prepare them to meet the challenges of varying sites and industries - including those they have never encountered before!
From there the Course develops and explores many of the risks that may be encountered, seeks to evaluate their probability and explores ways of eliminating or reducing the risk and consequences. The Delegates are encouraged to openly discuss the issues raised during the Course and to share their own ideas and experiences.
A number of participative exercises help the Delegates to put into practise the lessons learned and to widen the discussion and broaden their thinking on the Course content.
