Instinctive & Evasive Driving Refresher Course

To further enhance training provision, Skills for Security have accredited programmes that have been developed by other organisations but have met our quality standards and can therefore display the 'Skills for Security approved' logo. The following organisations offer Close Protection courses that have been accredited by Skills for Security.

In order to work in close protection in the UK, close protection officers must have attended an accredited SIA close protection course, hold a valid Health & Safety Executive first aid certificate and passed a criminal background check.

The G4S Instinctive & Evasive Driving Refresher course is dedicated to professional drivers who need to return to their previously taught skills sets and driving techniques. The course is open to delegates who have successfully completed a G4S accredited SDID course or ECPD Course where consideration is also given to a reasonable time lapse that may have exceeded 18 months or more. The G4S Instinctive & Evasive Driving course is conducted at the G4S Training facility in Pershore by highly experienced G4S instructors who have former UK Special Forces and Police backgrounds.
