To further enhance training provision, Skills for Security have accredited programmes that have been developed by our 'Skills for Security approved' logo. The following organisation offers a Community Safety course that has been accredited by Skills for Security.
Community Safety Accreditation Scheme
This course delivered by Specialised Training Services Essex Ltd, contains 14 modules taught through 60 directed learning hours. About half of the 60 learning hours are achieved through distance learning material. The remainder of the course involves 5 days classroom contact. The classroom contact can be scheduled into one block or split over separate days. Modules covered include: legislation, interpersonal social skills, crime reduction in communities and dealing with incidents.
