Who is the Level 3 designed for?

The Level 3 Security Operations is aimed at operational personnel who have an understanding of security and want to extend their knowledge. Additionally, the scope of the learning makes it appropriate for both existing and aspiring security supervisors.

Learning Options

Three methods of learning are available:-

• Trainers/companies can purchase a CD-ROM containing all of the materials required to teach the programme in the classroom, including lesson plans, PowerPoint slides and Student Handouts.

OR

• Individual students can purchase a distance learning workbook and complete the course through reading and the completion of exercises, learning at their own pace and at a time to suit them individually

OR

• You can choose a blend of both distance learning and classroom training. In addition to the usual trainer aides the CD-ROM includes all of the pages contained in the textbook, giving you the option of printing all or some of it as you choose. This allows trainers to decide how to structure the programme for each individual or group.

What are the benefits of the Level 3?

The programme can be used as CPD to enhance the knowledge of security staff and those responsible for supervising and managing security operations. A total of 60 learning hours are required to meet the qualification requirements. This learning will assist the delegate towards obtaining a level 3 award in Security Operations which is currently awarded by City & Guilds and NOCN.
