The SIA recently announced that the licence-linked qualifications for England & Wales have changed to include a new modular structure. Skills for Security have developed a "ready to teach" cost effective training solution to help employers and training providers meet these new requirements. These new materials meet the requirements of the SIA core competencies.
The new approach to licence-linked training/qualifications means that all students will receive training in the same "core modules" that are common to all licensable occupations, but the remainder of their training will differ depending upon the type of licence/qualification required, combining different modules for different occupations. The only training that has not changed as yet is the Door Supervisors pack which will be available in June, when the new qualification is ready.

Each package is sold under licence, with an initial fee being paid and then a yearly renewal fee. The benefits of this approach are:
