What qualifications do I need to deliver the SIA licence linked qualifications?

You will need a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above plus a qualification or experience in the duties you wish to teach (e.g. if you wish to teach CCTV operators you must have worked in a CCTV control room, or hold a CCTV operators qualification IN ADDITION to your teaching qualification). If you intend to teach conflict management skills you will also need a Conflict Management Trainer qualification. For details of Skills for Security courses leading to these qualifications click here.

Trainers delivering Door Supervision will also need to have attended an approved Physical Intervention programme, after which they should be given training materials enabling them to deliver the physical skills module for the Door Supervision qualification.
