This programme delivered in conjunction with Rutherford Training, has been created for delegates who wish to be able to deliver Rutherford's Level 3 Security Management (Head Door Supervison) to delegates.
What does the programme cover?
The four day programme consist of three key phases:
1. Distance learning phase, where delegates study the learning reference material
2. Two day course where delegates gain the Level 3 award which covers the following areas:
a. Team leaders role
b. team leadership skills
c. Risk assessments and reduction measures
d. Discipline and grievance procedures
e. Team briefings and debriefings
f. Radio communications
g. Actions on planning or emergency planning
h. Improvised explosive device and bomb awareness
i. Escorting techniques and procedures
j. Post incident support
k. Customer Services
l. Adminstration and paperwork
3. Two day teaching workshop to develop the tutor's knowledge of the subject material and delivery of the key learning techniques. This includes:
a. Assessment techniques
b. Core learning activities
c. Micro teach sessions
What are the benefits of this programme?
You will develop your understanding of the subject material and gain a broad understanding of the main responsibilities of a Head Door Supervisor. You will also be introduced to key leadership principles and gain an understanding of basic terrorism awareness. After successful completion of the programme you will be able to deliver Rutherford Training's Level 3 Security Management (Head Door Supervsion) to Door Security staff, in accordance with the licensing agreement.
