This is a newly developed course aimed at those working in a team leader role.
Management and the ability to lead people are skills to be learnt, practised and developed over a period of time. These skills must certainly be included in a company's development programme, but lack of these skills is often identified as a cause for concern, with junior and middle managers feeling inadequately equipped to perform their roles to the best of their ability.
Who is the programme for?
This 2 day course is aimed at team leaders (there are no pre-entry requirements).
What does the programme cover?
The course covers the following modules:-
- Role of the team leader
- Effective delegation
- Problem solving
- Managing performance
- How to achieve goals through motivation
Assessment is made throughout the course, via the trainer's observation of the delegate's participation in tasks and exercises.
