Industry leaders debate the future of the Guarding sector

Release date: 12th December 2008

An interesting and frank exchange of views took place between some of the great and the good at this year's Skills for Security conference in Oxford.

Rising to the challenge posed by the SMT/Infologue.com's "Time to Make the Change" campaign, Baroness Henig, Stuart Lowden, Bill Muskin, Brian Sims, Guy Matthias and Richard Evans took to the stage under the chairmanship of David Dickinson to outline their differing views on the future direction of the industry, and what it needs to do to build on the progress made so far.

Extracts from the video of this thought provoking and, occasionally, amusing debate have been published on the Skills for Security website and can be viewed at www.skillsforsecurity.org.uk – access the video by clicking on the 'Conferences' header on the right of the screen.
