Skills for Security, the skills body for the security business sector welcomed Baroness Neville-Jones, Minister for Security, to their stand at the Farnborough International Air Show.
Attending the show on Futures Day - an opportunity for young people to learn about careers in Aerospace, Defence and Security - representatives from Skills for Security promoted the apprenticeship in electronic security and fire systems and answered questions about the opportunities available in systems engineering and other sectors of the security industry.
David Edge, Deputy Chief Executive of Skills for Security said:
“As the Skills Body, we value opportunities such as these to talk to young people about the varied and interesting careers available to them in our sector, such as our apprenticeship scheme. On this occasion we were also delighted to meet the Minister and explain our role in the development of skills in our sector.”
