Corporate Responsibility

Corporate responsibility is top of our agenda as it impacts upon economic, social and environmental areas

 of the business.  As the industry’s skills and standards setting body, we naturally want to lead by example.

Our responsible behaviour and good practice is reflected throughout all areas of the business, from

minimizing our environmental impact and increasing efficiency, to helping the local community with charitable

support.

Skills for Security has adopted three local charities: St. Richard’s Hospice , Acorns Children’s Hospice

and the County Air Ambulance. Skills for Security’s employees participate in a number of fundraising activities

from raffle ticket selling to activity weekends. As an organisation we also donate the money we would normally

spend on Christmas cards for our customers to these three charities.

Skills for Security also support the work that The Hear4u charity undertakes. This charity offers a service for

Freemen and Members of the Company of Security Professionals and their families in providing medical and

health related guidance and support. Their objective is to enable individuals to return to good health and gainful
